Oh Hell (also called Oh Pshaw, Bust, Blackout) is a trick-taking card game. Each hand, players are dealt the same number of cards, a card is flipped for trump, then players bid the exact number of tricks they think they'll take. If you take exactly your bid, you score 10 + bid; otherwise you score 0.
For an overview of the rules, see Wikipedia: Oh Hell
This server supports 3- and 4-player games on the canonical Wikipedia schedule: deal the maximum hand size to each player, then one fewer each hand down to 1, then back up. 3-player games deal up to 10 cards (19 hands); 4-player games deal up to 7 (13 hands). The player with the highest cumulative score after the last hand wins.
Common scoring. Each player gets 1 point per trick taken, plus a 10-point bonus if their bid matched the number of tricks taken exactly. The dealer's bid is constrained so the total of all bids in a hand can never equal the number of tricks ("the hook").
Optionally play with friends. You can play with up to 2 human friends against the ai bots by sharing the url after you create a game. The remaining seats are filled by ai bots.
